I AM MARU

Solo Software Engineer

I am a boy solo software engineer who builds modern websites, Android apps, and mobile games with a clean, professional look. This page represents my work style for MARU Apps — simple, responsive, fast, and designed for real users all over the world. I work alone, but I take full responsibility for every line of code, every design decision, and every release that leaves my machine.

I started MARU as a personal project because I wanted to create software that actually respects people's time. Most apps on the market today are too heavy, too full of advertisements, or too complicated for the simple job they are supposed to do. Instead of complaining about it, I decided to build my own alternatives from scratch, one app at a time, using modern tools and a careful design process that puts quality above quantity.

Everything I publish under the MARU name follows the same core principles. It must install quickly, run smoothly on modest hardware, respect your privacy by collecting as little data as possible, and do exactly what it promises without hidden surprises. If a feature does not make the app better for the average user, I remove it. If a permission is not strictly required for the core function, I do not request it.

Today my library covers a wide range of categories, from everyday utility tools and file managers to productivity helpers, media players, and lightweight games built for short breaks. I remain a solo developer by choice, because working alone lets me review every release personally, read every piece of feedback, and ship improvements quickly instead of waiting for long corporate release cycles or committee approvals.

My work focuses on performance, usability, mobile-friendly layouts, and elegant UI design. I enjoy creating download pages, landing pages, and web interfaces that are easy to navigate, visually strong, and feel premium on every device. Every detail matters: spacing, contrast, loading speed, and the way a page responds to your touch. Nothing ships until it feels right in my hand.

I built this platform from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript because I wanted full control over every pixel and every millisecond of load time. Instead of relying on heavy frameworks that add hundreds of kilobytes to a simple page, I keep my code small, clean, and easy to maintain. This approach means my apps and websites open faster, feel lighter, and use less memory on your device.

Privacy is a core value, not an afterthought. I collect the minimum amount of information required for an app to function, and wherever possible, data is stored locally on your device instead of being uploaded to a remote server. I do not sell user data, I do not share it with advertisers, and I do not bundle aggressive third-party trackers into my tools. When I do include an external library, I review its permissions carefully.

I test every build on low-end, mid-range, and high-end devices, plus multiple Android versions, because software that only runs well on flagship phones is not software I want to publish. Many users around the world rely on devices with limited RAM and storage, and I believe they deserve the same smooth experience as everyone else. If an app cannot run comfortably on an entry-level device, it is not ready.

Community matters to me. Suggestions sent by users have directly influenced features, interface changes, and even the removal of options that turned out to be confusing. I read every message, and while I cannot implement every request, I always explain my decisions when I decline one. If you find a bug, please include your device model and Android version — that single detail usually cuts diagnosis time in half.

My roadmap for the future includes more utility tools, deeper Android integrations, and a few creative projects that combine simplicity with real usefulness. I will never publish an app just to increase the number of listings — if a new idea duplicates something I already offer, I will improve the existing app instead of creating a second one. This keeps the catalogue clean and makes your choice easier.

Above all, I want MARU to be known for honesty. No fake countdown timers, no misleading buttons, no forced subscriptions for basic features. If an app is free, it is genuinely usable for free. Any optional support I offer is clearly labelled and easy to ignore. That is the kind of developer I want to be — the one you can trust with your time, your device, and your data.

I believe small teams and solo developers have a real advantage in the modern software world. Without meetings, without bureaucracy, and without layers of approval, I can move from an idea to a working prototype in a single afternoon. That speed means I can respond to user feedback almost immediately, ship fixes within days, and experiment with new ideas that larger companies would never risk trying.

Every app I publish is a reflection of how I work: focused, honest, and committed to quality. I do not chase trends or copy what is popular. I build what I believe is genuinely useful, and I stand behind every release with my name on it. When I am not coding, I am testing new ideas, learning new frameworks, or sketching interfaces that solve small everyday problems. Thank you for being part of this journey.
